Who We Are
The Book of Acts records that Our Lord Jesus Christ spent forty days with His apostles after His glorious resurrection. During these forty days, He spoke to them about “the things pertaining to the kingdom of God” (Acts 1:3). Holy Scriptures (the Bible), along with these teachings, became the foundation of the faith and Tradition of the early Christian Church. All Christians were thus united into one, holy, universal, and apostolic Church from the very beginning of Christendom. Today this Church is called the Orthodox Church.
